Dr. Lui Che Woo, GBM, MBE, JP, LLD, DSSc, DBA
Dr. Lui Che Woo, GBM, MBE, JP, LLD, DSSc, DBA, aged 85, the founder of the Group, has been a Director of the Company since August 1991 and is the Chairman and a member of the Executive Board of the Company. Dr. Lui is also the Chairman and the Managing Director of K. Wah International Holdings Limited. He has over 50 years’experience in quarrying, construction materials and property development. He was the Founding Chairman of the Institute of Quarrying in the UK (Hong Kong Branch) and the Chairman of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. Dr. Lui is also the Founding Chairman of The Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners, the President of Tsim Sha Tsui East Property Developers Association, the Founding President of Hong Kong – Guangdong Economic Development Association and an Honorary President of Hong Kong – Shanghai Economic Development Association. Dr. Lui has been appointed as a Member of Steering Committee on MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions) since 2007. Further, Dr. Lui was a Committee Member of the 9th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Selection Committee for the First Government of the HKSAR and a member of the Election Committee of the HKSAR. In 1995, an asteroid discovered by the Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing was named “Lui Che Woo Star”. Dr. Lui was presented the Outstanding Contribution Award in Guangzhou in 1996. Dr. Lui was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star by the Government of the HKSAR in July 2005. Dr. Lui was also awarded the Grand Bauhinia Medal by the Government of the HKSAR in 2012. Dr. Lui has been again elected as a member of the Election Committee of the HKSAR in December 2006. Dr. Lui was awarded Business Person of the Year 2007 by DHL/SCMP Hong Kong Business Awards and the Lifetime Achievement Award by American Academy of Hospitality Sciences of 2007 respectively. Dr. Lui was presented the Diamond Award by Macau Tatler and the Lifetime Achievement Award by All Leaders Publication Group Limited, both in 2011. Dr. Lui was awarded Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards 2012 – Lifetime Achievement Award by Enterprise Asia in 2012 and Lifetime Achievement Award by Golden Horse Award of China Hotel in 2013. Dr. Lui was presented the Outstanding Contribution Award at the International Gaming Awards, as well as Entrepreneur of the Year at the Asian Awards in 2014. Dr. Lui is the father of Mr. Francis Lui Yiu Tung and Ms. Paddy Tang Lui Wai Yu.
Mr. Francis Lui Yiu Tung
Mr. Francis Lui Yiu Tung, aged 59, joined the Group in 1979. He has been an executive Director of the Company since June 1987 and is the Deputy Chairman and a member of each of the Executive Board, Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee as well as the Chairman of Corporate Governance Committee of the Company. Mr. Lui is also an executive director of K. Wah International Holdings Limited. He holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering and a master of science degree in structural engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, USA. Mr. Lui is a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Election Committee of the HKSAR and a member of the Chief Executive Election Committee of Macau SAR. He is also a director of the 68th Term of Macao Chamber of Commerce and an Honorary Chairman of the 18th Term of Kiang Wu Hospital Charitable Association. Mr. Lui was awarded the Medal of Merit – Tourism by Macau SAR in 2012 and Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards 2014 – Entrepreneur of the Year by Enterprise Asia in 2014. Mr. Lui is a son of Dr. Lui Che Woo and a younger brother of Ms. Paddy Tang Lui Wai Yu.
Mr. Philip Cheng Yee Sing
Mr. Cheng is the Director of Galaxy Entertainment Group. He has over 30 years experience in operation and management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Cornell University, USA and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University, USA.
Mr. Michael Mecca
President & Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Mecca is the President and Chief Operating Officer of GEG. He holds a Bachelor degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Oklahoma in USA. He has held senior executive roles with a number of globally recognized gaming and hospitality brands including Station Casinos Inc. in Las Vegas, Mandalay Resort Group in Las Vegas, Caesars World, Inc. in Las Vegas, and Crown Ltd. in Melbourne in Australia. Prior to joining GEG, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
Mr. Robert Drake
Group Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Drake is the Chief Financial Officer of GEG. He earned his MBA from the Simon School at the University of Rochester and Bachelor of Science degree from Allegheny College. Prior to joining GEG, Mr. Drake was the Vice President, Finance of Harrah's Entertainment's Western Division in Las Vegas, which primarily includes Harrah's 13 properties in Nevada, including Caesars Palace, Paris and Flamingo. Previously, he was the Managing Director of William Sword & Co., a boutique investment banking firm located in Princeton, New Jersey.
Ms. Eileen Lui Wai Ling
Group Director – Human Resources & Administration
Ms. Eileen Lui is the Human Resources and Administration Director of the Group. Ms. Lui holds an Executive MBA from Richard Ivey School of Business, The University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Los Angeles. She is a member of the Zhuhai Committee of the 7th Chinese People Political Consultative Conference.
Mr. Roland To Chi Kay
Senior Director – Strategic Planning
Mr. To is the Senior Director of Strategic Planning of GEG. He joined GEG in early 2004 and has more than 25 years of experience with respect to project finance, mergers and acquisitions and credit re-structuring. Prior to joining GEG, he worked for major banks including Schroders, Dao Heng Bank and DBS.

Mr. John Au, Senior Director of Business Development, Galaxy Entertainment Group and Director of Operations of Broadway Macau & City Clubs. He has been with the K. Wah Group for over 15 years and he was one of the key members in the GEG pre-opening management team to establish the Human Resources & Administration Department. Prior to taking up his current role, he held senior executive positions in human resources, public relations and government relations in the Group and had worked with major companies and organizations such as Hong Kong & China Gas and Hong Kong Productivity Council.
Mr. Baschar Hraki
Director – Project Development
Mr. Hraki is the Director of Project Development of GEG. He is a qualified architect with extensive international experience in design, and construction management of large and complex projects including hotels, resorts, theme parks, entertainment centers, residential developments, shopping centers and sports stadiums in Asia, Europe, Middle East and the USA. He was the former Executive Vice President with a large company in charge of a mega project development in Macau.
Mr. Ian Farnsworth
Director – Information Systems & Technology
Mr. Farnsworth is the Director of Information Systems & Technology of GEG. He joined the Company with an impressive pedigree in senior corporate IT roles from 1984 to 2006 with a number of public and global companies including Foster’s Group Ltd, Crown Ltd and Cadbury Schweppes in Australia. Prior to joining GEG, Mr. Farnsworth was the Executive General Manager, Business Process & Information Systems of ABB Grain Ltd, a leading Agribusiness in Australia.
Mr. Raymond Kwok Mun Sang
Director – Legal
Mr. Kwok is the Director of Legal of GEG. Mr. Kwok holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from University of Manitoba and a LLB ( Hons ) from London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a solicitor in Hong Kong and England and Wales. Mr. Kwok has over 25 years of legal experience in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China. His legal expertise covers corporate real estate, project finance, M&A, hospitality and corporate finance. Mr. Kwok was appointed as a China Appointed Attesting Officer in 2000. Prior to joining GEG, Mr. Kwok was a partner of various international law firms.
Mr. Raymond Yap Yin Min
Director - International Premium and Mass Market Development
Mr. Yap is the Director of International Premium and Mass Market Development of GEG. He has more than 24 years’ experience in hotel operations, resort planning, theme park and plaza development, corporate planning and business development. He has held various executive positions with the Genting Group and his last position was the Senior Vice President of the Theme Park and First World Plaza.
Mr. Kevin Clayton
Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Clayton is the Chief Marketing Officer of GEG. He has over 30 years of corporate and consulting experience in strategic marketing, brand building, business development and new product innovation. Previously, he held senior executive positions with a number of casinos and prestigious companies in UK, South-East Asia and Australia and was Principal - Strategic Marketing with Galaxy Entertainment during 2007 to 2009. Prior to joining GEG, Mr. Clayton worked as an independent management consultant with casinos in Asia and Australia offering marketing consultancy services.
Mr. Richard Longhurst
Director – Operations, Galaxy Macau™
Mr. Longhurst is the Director of Operations at Galaxy Macau™. He has over 25 years of extensive leadership experience at senior levels gained from the gaming industry. Prior to joining GEG, he held various executive positions with a reputable gaming company in Australia. His last position was as Chief Operating Officer of a large integrated resort.
Mr. Charles So Chak Lum
Director – Operations, StarWorld Macau
Mr. So is the Director of Operations at StarWorld Macau. He has over 30 years’ solid experience in hotel operations and food and beverages service. Before he joined GEG in 2005, he has held management positions with a number of prestigious hotels across Beijing, Hong Kong, The Philippines, Vietnam and Australia, responsible for developing and managing the hotel businesses.
Mr. Trevor Martin

Mr. Martin is the Director of Human Resources and Administration. He has over 30 years of solid experience in Human Resources and Training and Development. Previously, he held senior executive positions with a number of prestigious companies in Australia. Prior to joining GEG, Mr. Martin was the Group General Manager of Human Resources of a leading company in Australia.
