“GEG Youth Achievement Program” is Now Accepting Applications

September 19, 2011 – Committed to fostering emerging talent within Macau society, Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) partners with Macau Management Association to launch a “GEG Youth Achievement Program”, which offers young people aged between 18 and 25 a variety of practical training and learning experiences. This program mainly aims to help young participants develop positive life values and to guide them in establishing personal career paths. The program is now accepting applications until October 31, 2011.

To further promote this program among local youth, 10,000 flyers and application forms will be distributed by Macau Management Association, Youth Committee of Macau Federation of Trade Unions, Macao New Chinese Youth Association and various higher education institutes including University of Macau, Institute for Tourism Studies, Macao Polytechnic Institute, Macau University of Science and Technology and University of Saint Joseph. Posters with program information will be displayed at the above mentioned locations as well as on the website: http://www.facebook.com/geg.yap.

The “GEG Youth Achievement Program” will enroll 500 successful applicants and all participants will be issued a membership card for authentication. The program commences from November this year until the end of April next year. In this program, the participants will have an opportunity to be exposed to a variety of team building activities which can sharpen both their interpersonal and communication skills. The program will also provide opportunities to participate in a wide range of practical and competency training including seminars, workshops and voluntary work, which will enable them to overcome challenges and handle adversity in the future. Each participant will receive a Certificate of Recognition for the successful completion of the program and have the opportunity to participate in an Asian city study tour competition.
