“Galaxy Got Talent 2014” Grand Final will be Held on Thursday Where All Proceeds will be Donated to Fu Hong Society of Macau

September 15, 2014 - Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) will hold the long anticipated Grand Final of its annual talent show contest, “Galaxy Got Talent”, at East Square of Galaxy Macau™ on Thursday where versatile GEG contestants will take the stage to showcase their talents. As always, GEG organizes team member events while caring about the community. This year, by inviting a band formed by members from Fu Hong Society as the guest performers, GEG hopes to promote social inclusion of people with disability and to offer them the opportunity to display their artistic talent. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to Fu Hong Society of Macau.

While pursuing business growth, GEG also adheres to the philosophy “from the community, for the community” and actively fulfills the corporate social responsibility commitment. Through “Galaxy Got Talent”, team members are given an opportunity to present their talents while members of Fu Hong Society are provided a chance to share their artistic skills with the audience. This year, the Grand Final of “Galaxy Got Talent” will continue to promote the message of social integration by arranging a band formed by three members of Fu Hong Society to present the kickoff performance along with GEG team members. Tickets cost $50 each and all proceeds will be donated to Fu Hong Society of Macau.

Having been held for six consecutive years since 2009, “Galaxy Got Talent” continues to receive an overwhelming response from GEG team members who cheer on their colleagues while donating money to Fu Hong Society. Ten finalists from across the company who were chosen after a rigorous semi-final will compete for seven special awards and prizes. Worth a total of MOP500,000, the special awards and prizes are under the theme of “Walk Through the Ages” and include “Sound of GEG”, “Move of GEG”, “The Best Showmanship” and “Audience Choice”.

This year GEG has invited Danny Summer, a famous singer from Hong Kong, as the celebrity judge in the contest. Not only will the team members have an opportunity to enjoy performances given by senior executives, but they can also vote for their favorite contestants on the Facebook Page of “Galaxy Got Talent” to try their chance at a lucky draw. Furthermore, members of the audience with outstanding costumes matching the theme of the contest will take home “The Best Dressed Award for Audience”.
