Galaxy Entertainment Group “GEG” today announces the appointment of Dr. Jorge Neto Valente as Managing Director of Galaxy Casino S.A.

Dr. Valente is the founder and managing partner of Jorge Neto Valente Advogados, a firm of lawyers and notaries that was established over thirty years ago and is one of Macau’s largest law offices. The firm has a long and extensive history of advising clients on a range of corporate and commercial issues in the fields of banking and finance, real estate and gaming law.

Having very actively participated in civic and socio-professional activities, Dr. Valente is highly respected in Macau S.A.R. Amongst numerous roles, he is a member of the Macau S.A.R.’s Chief Executive Election Committee since 2004. He also serves as the member of the Conference for Electing Deputies of Macao SAR to the National People’s Congress from 2007; member of the Board of Trustees of the Macau Foundation since 2001 and is currently the President of the Macau Lawyers Association.

Dr. Valente’s contribution to the community of Macau is widely recognized. He has been awarded the Medal of Merit – Professions by the Macau S.A.R. Government in 2004.
