World-class Leisure and Entertainment Facilities in Galaxy Macau Phase 2 and Broadway Macau; Attracts Local and Overseas Experts and Groups at one-stop

June 30, 2015 Galaxy Macau™ Phase 2 and Broadway Macau™, which are owned and operated by Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”), has doubled its size to 1.1 million square meters and opened its doors on 27th May. The new world-class leisure facilities and the new business model of cooperating with small-and medium-sized enterprises (“SMEs”) have attracted more than 40 local and overseas professionals and associations for tour visits. Visitors expressed their appreciation of GEG’s development and affirmed that the partnership between GEG and SMEs has fostered the diversification of local economy.

Few months before the grand opening, GEG had already received requests for group visits to the new integrated resort. Therefore, GEG arranged tour visits for various professionals and associations at the beginning of May and received their first-experienced feedbacks. More than 40 groups of professionals including engineering, commercial enterprises, security, fire safety, arts, culture, hotel and design, who came from Macau, Hong Kong, Mainland, England, America, Korea, Malaysia, etc. visited the properties merely in May and June.

Aside from professionals, students and teenagers from various associations, including Global Entrepreneurial Youth Conference of UMAC, students from the “CTM Youth Development Programme”, China Youth Entrepreneurs Association, students from Faculty of Tourism, South Korea Tongwon University and Temerlin Advertising Institute, also visited the properties. Through the visits, the students and teenagers gained the knowledge on the planning, designing and managing of a non-gaming integrated resort, and they also learnt about GEG’s commitment in building Macau as a “World Center of Tourism and Leisure.”

Visitors were inspired by the new design Skytop Adventures Rapid and Kidz Island of the Grand Resort Deck which serve as an exhilarating paradise for family. Galaxy Macau was recently accredited with a LEED Gold Certification by the United States Green Building Council, which stands as an impressive example of sustainable design and a leader in making the building industry greener. Furthermore, the 3000-seats Broadway Theater and the Broadway with an array of over 40 local and Asian food and beverage outlets demonstrate the new partnership business strategy between large corporation and local SMEs, which would help to promote Macau local brands and foster the diversification of the economy.
