“Galaxy Got Talent 2011” Grand Final to be held this Thursday All proceeds from ticket sales will go to Macao Association of Parents of Mentally Handicapped Persons

November 7, 2011 – The much awaited Grand Final of Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”)’s annual talent show competition, “Galaxy Got Talent”, will be held on 10th November at Banyan Ballroom, Banyan Tree Macau. Organized by GEG’s Staff Social Club, the competition not only offers team members an opportunity to exhibit their talents, but it also allows GEG to further integrate with local community by participating its team members in a meaningful charity act as all the proceeds from the ticket sales of that night will be donated to Macao Association of Parents of Mentally Handicapped Persons to help the families in need.

GEG has always been socially integrated with the community by coordinating all kinds of staff and community activities with different associations, especially those that help the people in need. Through this competition, GEG hopes to draw people’s attention on building a harmonious relationship with people with disabilities. All the proceeds from the ticket sales that night will be donated to the association and to thank the participants for supporting this event by purchasing a MOP$50 admission ticket, a lucky draw will be hosted for them to win big prizes with a total worth of MOP$10,000. The kickoff performance for the Grand Final will be presented by “Sunshine Band”, a band formed by the members of the association.

Following last year’s success, “2011 Galaxy Got Talent” continues to receive overwhelming responses from GEG’s team members. After two days of auditions, it comes down to 12 final acts, including Chinese dramatic art face-changing, magic show and singing and dancing. The finalists will compete for the champion as well as 3 special awards, including the Best Showmanship Award, the Best Dress Award and the Audience Choice Award with fabulous prizes worth more than MOP$160,000.

Representatives of Macao Association of Parents of Mentally Handicapped Persons and local famous artists are invited to be the judges of the competition this year.
