Community Contributions

Since its establishment in 2002, Galaxy Entertainment has been committed to the well being of Macau's wider community through staff recruitment and training, sponsorships and partnerships with tourism organizations.

Galaxy employees are pivotal to the company's success and presently employ approximately 8,000 staff. Employee training is paramount to both the employee's and company's future and frequent workshops and initiatives are undertaken in conjunction with the Labour Bureau, Macau Tourism and Casino Career Centre as well as tertiary education institutions.

Working with the Macau Government, Galaxy has helped transform the city and change its future, expanding on local tourism attractions and sponsoring major international events such as the Macau Galaxy Resort International Marathon, Macau Galaxy Resort FIVB World Grand Prix, Macau Grand Prix and the Macau International Music Festival to name a few. Galaxy will continue to support sporting and cultural events in Macau, adding to the city's attraction for visitors and diversifying Macau's tourism product.

Galaxy enjoys a symbiotic relationship with the local economy and will further pursue new ways in which to fulfill its role as a valuable corporate citizen in Macau.
