Dec 2021 GEG invests US$10 million in a green bond issued in Macau. Previously, GEG made a RMB100 million subscription to a biodiversity-themed green bond and a HK$100 million subscription to a SME Themed COVID-19 Impact Alleviation Social Bond issued by Bank of China Limited (Macau Branch) to support the development of the local financial market and Macau’s economic diversification.
