WTT Champions Macao 2024 Presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group Has Successfully Concludes; Promoting the Cross-Sectoral Integration of “Tourism + Sports” and Fostering Sports Exchange in the Community

Amid the tournament, the “Double Celebrations - GEG Macau Special Olympics Inclusive Table Tennis Fun Day 2024” that has been sponsored by GEG and co-organized with MSO for 14 consecutive years was held in in Broadway Macau. With GEG’s support and arranged by WTT, Mr. Xiang Peng (fourth from left) and Ms. Kuai Man (fourth from right), winners of the World Junior Table Tennis Championships attended and inaugurated the ceremony.
- 4. Mr. Xiang Peng and Ms. Kuai Man, two World Junior Table Tennis Championships sent by WTT, engaged in exhibition matches and interacted with MSO athletes at the fun day. The atmosphere was harmonious with participants stating it to be a precious opportunity.
- 5. GEG invited members from various community groups to watch the matches on site. Accompanied by members of the GEG Volunteer Team, participants witnessed world-class athletes in action, deepening their understanding and interest in international table tennis competition.
- 6. GEG, along with various organizers, invited WTT players, Ms. Chen Xingtong from China and Mr. Truls Moregard from Sweden to an autograph session at the East Square of Galaxy Macau and to interact with fans.
- 7. GEG set up the “Love Between Fairy and Devil” immersive VR interactive booth outside the competition venue, to leverage large-scale sports event and link it with themed entertainment and traditional Chinese art and other leisure tourism element.
