May 15, 2026 – Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) today hosted its “Long Service Award Ceremony” and “Galaxy Macau 15th Anniversary Celebration” at the Galaxy Auditorium of the Galaxy International Convention Center (“GICC”). Under the theme “One Team, One Goal, Together We Glow”, the event paid tribute to team members who have grown alongside GEG over the years, while celebrating the 15th anniversary of Galaxy Macau™ integrated resort.

The ceremony was officiated by distinguished guests including Mr. Sun Yaohua, Director of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government (“CLO”) in the Macau SAR; Ms. Ng Wai Han, Director of the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau of the Macau SAR Government (“DICJ”); Mr. Chan Un Tong, Director of the Labour Affairs Bureau of the Macau SAR Government (“DSAL”); and Mr. Cheng Wai Tong, Acting Director of the Macao Government Tourism Office (“MGTO”). They were joined by Mr. Francis Lui, Chairman of GEG; Mr. Philip Cheng, Director of GEG; Ms. Eileen Lui, Group Director of Human Resources and Administration of GEG; Mr. Kevin Kelley, Chief Operating Officer – Macau of GEG; and Mr. Thomas Arasi, Chief Financial Officer of GEG. The event also welcomed Mr. Paul Pun Chi Meng, Secretary General of Caritas Macau; and Ms. Anny Yip Mei Kun, Service Coordinator of Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Services Coordination Office (“SKH”), who joined over 600 GEG executives and team members in the celebration.

This year, more than 9,500 team members with 10 or more years of service were honored with the Long Service Award, representing nearly half of GEG’s workforce. To commemorate this milestone, GEG organized a world record attempt themed “Together We Build”, in which 3,888 team members collaborated to create a massive bottle cap mosaic. This collective effort successfully set a new world record for the “Most Contributions to a Bottle Cap Mosaic in 24 Hours”, with the official certificate presented during the ceremony.

Mr. Francis Lui expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the CLO, the Macau SAR Government, and the community for their long‑standing support and guidance, while also paying tribute to GEG’s long‑serving team members. He said, “Today marks the 15th anniversary of Galaxy Macau. With nearly half of our team members having served for over 10 years, and many for more than 15 or even 20 years, this enduring commitment reflects the deep trust and strong sense of belonging that have enabled our people to grow alongside GEG. We have always regarded our team members as our most valuable asset. Their dedication and perseverance have fostered a strong sense of cohesion, which is a cornerstone of our success. At GEG, we are committed to supporting local employment through continuous enhancement of our talent development and training initiatives. Our goal is to elevate the team’s professional standards and international perspectives, while fostering both upward and lateral mobility to build a competitive workforce.” He further noted that GEG continues to enrich the development of its integrated resort, earning multiple international accolades, including Galaxy Macau being named the “Integrated Resort with the Most Forbes Five-Star Hotels in the World” for consecutive years. Since 2023, GEG has hosted over 1,000 high‑profile entertainment, sports, cultural, and MICE events. These initiatives have enriched the overall tourism experience and further strengthened Macau’s global appeal and competitiveness, supporting its positioning as a “World Center of Tourism and Leisure”.

During the ceremony, Mr. Francis Lui received the official certificate for the “Most Contributions to a Bottle Cap Mosaic in 24 Hours”, marking the fourth time that GEG and its properties have achieved a world record title. Following the 2016 record for the “Largest Human Image of a Four‑Leaf Clover”, this latest attempt once again brought together a large number of team members, demonstrating the strength of cross-departmental collaboration in achieving a world-class milestone within a 24-hour period. From May 13 to 14, 3,888 team members worked collectively at the East Square of Galaxy Macau to create a large‑scale mosaic art piece, vividly showcasing the scale and vibrancy of GEG’s integrated resort precinct. Mr. Francis Lui placed the final bottle cap, marking the successful completion of this attempt. The achievement was also officially verified this morning by the world record official adjudicator, in the presence of Ms. Joanna Wong Pui Kei, Coordination Manager of Caritas Macau, and Ms. Anny Yip Mei Kun, Service Coordinator of SKH.

The officiating guests and GEG executives also participated in a cake‑cutting and toasting ceremony to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Galaxy Macau. Following the celebration, Mr. Francis Lui and GEG executives presented certificates to long-serving team members. In a warm and festive atmosphere, team members from different departments gathered to share in the joy of this milestone. GEG also prepared exclusive appreciation gifts for each award recipient in recognition of their long-standing dedication and contributions. As part of the 15th anniversary celebrations of Galaxy Macau, GEG organized a series of engaging activities across its back‑of‑house areas, including a special anniversary menu at the staff canteen, where GEG executives served dishes to team members. This was complemented by the “Anniversary Celebration Carnival”, featuring interactive games and an “Instant Photo Booth”, creating lasting memories in a vibrant and celebratory spirit.
