GEG Dragon Boat Team Achieves Outstanding Results at the Macao International Dragon Boat Races

June 22, 2026 –Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) Dragon Boat Team marked its 21st consecutive year of supporting and participating in the Macao International Dragon Boat Races. GEG organized seven dragon boat teams formed by team members from its various properties, achieving outstanding results over consecutive race days. Among them, Galaxy Pearl won the championship in the Standard Dragon Boat Race Women’s Category (500m), while Galaxy Elegance secured the first runner-up position in the Macao Small Dragon Boat Race Women's Category (200m), underscoring the fruits of the team members’ continued dedication to training.
During the event, Mr. Philip Cheng, Director of GEG; Ms. Eileen Lui, Group Director of Human Resources and Administration of GEG; Mr. Kevin Kelley, Chief Operating Officer – Macau of GEG; Mr. Thomas Arasi, Chief Financial Officer of GEG, along with other senior management members, attended the event at the Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre to rally behind the athletes, joining team members in witnessing their efforts on the racecourse. Other participating GEG dragon boat teams included Galaxy Stars, Galaxy Universe, Galaxy Glamour, Galaxy Phoenix, and Galaxy Pioneer. In addition, GEG team members were present to support the competing teams, demonstrating strong team spirit and unity.
Over the years, GEG has consistently aligned with the Macau SAR Government’s sports development initiatives by continuously organizing, supporting and participating in a range of international sporting events in Macau. At the same time, GEG actively encourages its team members to engage in various sports and competitions, including establishing multiple sports teams through the GEG Staff Social Club to promote physical well-being and advocate the importance of work-life balance.
