September 3, 2026 – A severe mudslide recently struck Gyirong Port in Gyirong County, Xigaze, Xizang Autonomous Region, causing extensive damage to local transportation networks, infrastructure, and residents' livelihoods, as well as significant casualties and property losses. To support emergency relief and post-disaster recovery efforts, Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) announced today that, with the assistance of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macau SAR (“the Macau CLO”), GEG and Lui Che Woo Family Charitable Foundation will jointly donate MOP10 million. The donation will be used exclusively to support emergency search and rescue operations, relief supplies, temporary resettlement, medical assistance, and subsequent reconstruction and recovery efforts in the affected communities.

Mr. Francis Lui, Chairman of GEG, expressed his heartfelt concern for those affected by the disaster. He said, “We are deeply saddened by the devastating mudslide in Gyirong County, Xigaze, Xizang Autonomous Region, and extend our sincere sympathies to the affected residents.
