GEG Grabbed Three Awards from Macau Tug of War Open Competition
- 1. GEG joined the “2015 Macau Tug of War Open Competition” for the first time and seized the championship in the Mixed Open category, a second runner-up in the Men’s Open and a first runner-up in the Men’s New Star category.
- 2. With strong will and determination, five team members won the championship in the Mixed Open category.
- 3. Though GEG team members joined the tug of war competition for the first time, the team put full efforts and achieved rewarding results.
Nov, 17 2015 – Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) has been encouraging its team members to exercise more, uplift their team spirit and strengthen positivity in the community. Invited by the Association of Tug of War Macau, China, GEG recently joined the “2015 Macau Tug of War Open Competition” for the first time and seized the championship in the Mixed Open category, a second runner-up in the Men’s Open and a first runner-up in the Men’s New Star category.
Organized by the Association of Tug of War Macau, China, the “2015 Macau Open Tug of War Open Competition” was held at the Association in early November. On the day of the competition, three GEG tug of war teams competed vigorously in the preliminary round and with strong determination and teamwork, GEG team grabbed the first ranking and entered the final round of the competition. GEG team finally beat their opponents with scores of 2-0 and took home championship title in the Mixed Open category. Dozens of GEG team members witnessed the triumph and cheered for them in unified spirit.
Mr. Tyson Hoi, team leader of GEG tug of war team was thrilled with the results and said, “This is the first time we joined the competition and our opponents are much more experienced than us, but with strong will and determination, we are excited to have achieved this stunning result!” He also thanked all team members who cheered and extended support throughout the competition which was one of the underling motivations that led the team to success. Ms. Lili Lo, a member of GEG tug of war team said that every team member has dedicated their time for intensive practices after work for the past month. The team has built up a strong team spirit which is a significant factor for winning the championship in the Mixed Open category.
GEG congratulates the tug of war team on achieving such great results and thanks the team for their tremendous contribution and outstanding performance. GEG will continue to create a vibrant platform for its team members to develop their interest and potential through different events and activities.
