“2016 Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon” Winners of the Most Creative Costume Award and the Best Shot of Marathon Lucky Draw announced
- 1. Organized by Sports Bureau of the Macau SAR Government and General Association of Athletics of Macau and title sponsored by Galaxy Entertainment Group, the 2016 Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon was completed on Dec 4. To celebrate the 35th anniversary of Macau Marathon, the organizers added the Most Creative Costume Award and the Best Shot of Marathon this year. The announcement ceremony was held at 3pm today at the Diamond Lobby of Galaxy Macau™. Mr. Chan Pou Sin, Vice President of the Executive Board of General Association of Athletics of Macau, Ms. Lei Si Leng, Head of Macao Grand Prix and Major Sporting Events Department of Sports Bureau, and Mr. Buddy Lam, Assistant Senior Vice President of Public Relations of Galaxy Entertainment Group (left to right) attended the ceremony.
- 2. Mr. Chan Pou Sin, Vice President of the Executive Board of General Association of Athletics of Macau drew out 30 Consolation Prizes for the Best Shot of Marathon. Each winner will receive two UA Galaxy Cinemas 3D Tickets sponsored by GEG. Mr. Chan said the organizers and title sponsor Galaxy Entertainment Group added the Most Creative Costume Awards and the Best Shot of Marathon this year to mark the 35th Macau International Marathon, through these activities to enhance the participation of the neighboring cities. We can feel the joyful atmosphere of the marathon from the photos, and we anticipate everyone to continue support and participate next year.
- 3. Ms. Lei Si Leng, Head of Macao Grand Prix and Major Sporting Events Department of Sports Bureau drew out 35 Grand Prizes for the Best Shot of Marathon. Each winner will receive prizes include hotel room voucher, F&B voucher, UA Galaxy Cinemas tickets, tea set voucher, SPA voucher, Hong Kong to Macau Helicopter ticket and smart phone sponsored by GEG. Ms. Lei said that Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon has a long history and inspiring features. The event has been receiving overwhelming responses from both local and overseas runners. This year, the number of runners has reached a new record. To advocate athletes in participating sporting activities by various means and spreading the fun of working out, the organizer specially launched a relaxing activity for athletes to enjoy the fun during the marathon as well as to enhance the exciting atmosphere of the marathon.
- 4. Mr. Buddy Lam, Assistant Senior Vice President of Public Relations of Galaxy Entertainment Group drew out the Special Grand Prize for the Best Shot of Marathon. Winner of the Special Grand Prize will receive a Suzuki 5-doors vehicle worth MOP128,000. Meanwhile, Mr. Lam also announced the 5 winners of the Most Creative Costume Awards. Each winner will receive a prize worth MOP8,850 sponsored by GEG. Mr. Lam said as the title sponsor of Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon, we are happy to see that the number of participant increases every year. To increase the interest of the event, we have added the Most Creative Award and the Best Shot of Marathon this year. We hope that more participants will be attracted and so as to promote the development of Sports in Macau.
