May 28, 2019 – May 15 and 27 are the eighth and fourth anniversary of the opening of Galaxy Macau™ and Broadway Macau™ respectively. In celebration of the anniversaries, as well as to extend its sincere gratitude for team members’ continuous contributions, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) is holding the month-long Asian Heart Carnival, rolling out a host of activities and giving out exciting prizes. 

GEG executives hosted a cake-cutting ceremony to officiate the opening of the celebration in Galaxy Macau’s back of house area. The event began on a high note, with team members enjoying the eight-tier birthday cake. Following the ceremony was the Anniversary Online Game Lucky Draw, hosted by Ms. Eileen Lui, Group Director of Human Resources and Administration of GEG. Upward of 10,000 prizes were given out, including limited edition GEG Care gifts, as well as various household appliances and digital devices, such as smart phones, tablets and smart watches. Later on, executives joined team members in taking photos in the instant photo booth and enjoying snacks at the food fair. Adding to the fun were the celebratory dishes prepared by star chefs from GEG’s flagship properties and served in the staff canteens, as well as GEG executives in chef uniforms serving dishes to team members. The surprise appearance by the executives was intended to express gratitude for team members’ contributions. The month-long celebration is also introducing the “Sing to Celebrate” Karaoke Booths in the back of the house areas, where team members can sing and relax during breaks.

Another cake cutting ceremony was hosted by GEG executives on May 27 for the fourth anniversary of Broadway Macau where team members shared lots of fun and happiness with the gourmet dishes and instant photo booth.

Upholding the Asian Heart service philosophy, team members of GEG flagship properties have made valuable contributions to GEG’s commitment to supporting the Macau SAR Government’s positioning of the city as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure. In celebration of the anniversaries, it is GEG’s hope to express its heartfelt thanks to all team members, with fun-filled activities, assorted foods and attractive prizes. Moreover, GEG has been taking a proactive approach to promoting a healthy work-life balance for team members and supporting their home and family lives. A diverse range of activities were organized in this regard, such as the GEG Parenting Education Program: Happy Parenting – Round-the-Clock Parenting, which aimed to help team members who work rotating shifts to build strong parent-child relationships; the Galaxy Macau Family Tour 2018, which was designed to enhance families’ understanding of team members’ work environments; and the Happy Kids – Positive Parenting Roadshow, which offered team members guidance on effective communication with their children.
