We believe this project will not only provide high-quality care and developmental support for local children and families, but also promote the long-term sustainable growth of the community.”

The signing ceremony was attended by a number of distinguished guests, including Director Cheong Chok Man; Deputy Director-General Yang Quanzhou; Mr. Fu Xiaopeng, Deputy Director of the Jiangxi Provincial Office for Soviet Area Development; Mr. Chen Jun, Deputy Director of the Jiangxi Provincial Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office; Mr. Du Shaohua, Vice Mayor of Jiujiang Municipal Government; Mr. Zheng Qinghua, Secretary of the Communist Party of China (“CPC”) Xiushui County Committee; Ms. Liu Jie, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Xiushui County Party Committee and County Magistrate; and Ms. Linda Wong, Assistant Senior Vice President of Public Relations of GEG.

As part of the third batch of cooperation projects under Macau’s rural revitalization efforts in the County, the “Ao Le Child Care Center” will become the county’s first public inclusive childcare institution dedicated to providing affordable childcare and early developmental support services to infants and toddlers aged 0 to 3. Covering more than 4,240 square meters, the Center includes 2,000 square meters of outdoor activity space and is designed to accommodate 150 children in full-day childcare programs delivered through nine teaching classrooms. Constructed with eco-friendly, maternity-grade materials and equipped with a comprehensive climate-control system, the Center aims to create a safe, professional, and affordable environment for local families. Once operational, the Center is expected to ease childcare demand for families within a 10-kilometer radius, serve approximately 150 families in its first year, and create 40 local jobs.
